Mininger & Son was brought into existence by Norman Mininger and his son Philip when they saw a need for knowledgeable and reliable electricians in the Quakertown area. Both men had previously developed a reputation for doing quality work while employed for a local electrical contractor before he retired.
In 1975 they formed Mininger & Son. The father and son team preformed a variety of types of work ranging from additions, repairs, maintenance and new work. They accepted both residential and commercial jobs working side by side.
As time passed Norman gradually retired from electrical work, and Philip took on additional responsibilities. As opportunities for their services grew Philip hired their first employee, followed by others over the years as the company continued to grow. He was pleased to able to find persons who met the criteria for employees; persons who would be conscientious workers, courteous to customers, with a reliable character and willing to continually learn and improve their skills as electricians.
Now in the company's 40th year Philip along with all the employees continue to maintain a company with the these same high standards, providing the highest quality work for which Mininger & Son has long been known.
